Sorry i did not get back sooner but the Neowin forum webpages did not appear to be refeshing correctly for me until i did a manual refesh and i only have seen the more recent posts now.Please create a full system backup before installing this software package. I wonder could you try it in other machine with vista or xp to see if your skystar 2 card is working ok? It's strange you have this problem as the skystar 2 device i have works perfectly in windows 7 using the 4.5.0 bda drivers and dvbviewer even scanning all the channels work.
If you have to reboot to enable/disable the skystar device then it is most likely a confict caused by windows media center stopping your device from being seen. The reason i ask is because when the driver is mucked up on my system it says "Device not found" as well but this only happens if windows media center is started or even if Windows Media Center appears on the desktop as a icon, named etray.exe in task manager. Maybe I somehow locked my card whith it, is it possible ?Ĭould you tell me if when the skystar 2 device is enabled/disabled in device manager whether it takes a few seconds or do you have to reboot the system to enable/disable the device. It all went good, but it says in every dvbsoft that Device not found. Well I tryed maybe something stupid, but I installed the setup file from 4.5.0drivers.
